What is Plucasa?
Plucasa is a digital marketplace where Users publish and purchase analytical sports Predictions. We are not a bookmaker, gambling operator, betting intermediary, or financial institution. Predictions are informational analysis onlyâno outcome or profit is guaranteed.
What blockchain and asset does Plucasa use?
Plucasa operates exclusively with Ethereum (ETH) on the Arbitrum One network. No other network is supported. Transactions sent on unsupported networks may be permanently lost and unrecoverable.
What type of wallet can I use on Plucasa?
You must use a self-custody Ethereum wallet that supports Arbitrum One. Self-custody means you control the recovery phrase/private keys and can sign transactions directly.
Examples include MetaMask, Rabby Wallet, Coinbase Wallet (self-custody app), and Trust Wallet.
Exchange deposit accounts (e.g., Binance/Bybit/OKX exchange deposits) are not supported for purchases, because they do not provide stable sender addresses or message signing. Some brands offer separate wallet appsâthose wallet apps are allowed if they can sign messages.
Does Plucasa hold my crypto?
Yesâtemporarily and conditionally. When a Buyer purchases a Prediction, ETH is transferred into a Platform-controlled escrow wallet for settlement, disputes, fraud review, and compliance holds. Escrowed ETH is not a bank deposit, is not insured, does not earn interest, and is not used for lending, staking, or investment.
How does escrow work?
(1) Buyer confirms purchase and sends ETH on Arbitrum One into escrow. (2) After the sporting event concludes, a Dispute Window opens. (3) If no dispute is initiated within the Dispute Window, escrow releases to the Seller (subject to fraud/compliance checks). (4) If a dispute is initiated in time, escrow locks and the Seller gets a response window. (5) If the Seller refunds within the response window, the escrow closes and no admin fee applies. (6) If not refunded, an Administrator issues a final binary decision: Refund (Buyer) or Release (Seller). The losing party incurs a âŹ10 Dispute Administration Fee.
Who pays gas (network fees)?
Buyer-Initiated Gas: the Buyer pays gas to send ETH from their wallet into escrow. This gas is paid to the blockchain network and is generally non-refundable.
Platform-Initiated Gas: Plucasa executes escrow settlement transactions (release/refund) and pays the gas for those settlement transactions.
Users cover Platform operational costs through the Platform Fee shown at checkout. Platform fees are non-refundable.
Can a dispute expire once initiated?
No. If a dispute is validly initiated within the Dispute Window, it does not expire. Escrow remains locked until an Administrator issues a final determination.
Can Plucasa freeze or delay escrow funds?
Yes. Escrow may be frozen, delayed, or paused where reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, enforce Platform rules, conduct AML/sanctions screening, respond to legal process, or address technical anomalies.
Can blockchain transactions be reversed?
No. Blockchain transactions are generally irreversible once confirmed. You are responsible for selecting Arbitrum One and verifying the destination address before sending.
What risks should I be aware of?
Key risks include ETH price volatility, network congestion/delays, irreversible transactions, wallet compromise/phishing, sporting-event unpredictability, administrative dispute determinations, regulatory changes, downtime, and permanent loss of funds if you use the wrong network or wallet type. You should not use funds you cannot afford to lose.
Where can I read the full legal documents?
All governing documents are available in the Platformâs Legal section, including Terms and Conditions, Escrow and Settlement Policy, Risk Disclosure Statement, Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, IP & Takedown Policy, and Cookie Policy.
